Huitong Company's three-dimensional library construction?

In China's soft packaging industry, it is for a soft packaging printing enterprise to invest millions of yuan to build a three-dimensional warehouse. In the field of machine manufacturing, I have almost never heard of it. However, at Huitong Company, I personally witnessed a three-dimensional warehouse with 5500 containers standing tall in the company's factory area. According to Mr. Xiao Wu, the three-dimensional warehouse has a total length of 40 meters, a height of 18.5 meters, and a total investment of about 10 million yuan.
The idea of building a three-dimensional warehouse is based on saving storage space, making it easier to manage a variety of accessories, and ensuring an efficient and orderly equipment manufacturing process. In 2018, Huitong Company conducted a comprehensive inventory of all parts in the entire warehouse, with a total of over 500000 spare parts. Before establishing a physical warehouse, the management of warehouse spare parts relied entirely on a QR code system, with each part corresponding to a QR code. All outgoing and incoming parts were manually scanned, resulting in low efficiency and requiring a large number of warehouse management personnel.
A few years ago, when expanding the factory area, a piece of land was originally planned to be used as a flat warehouse. Later, after communicating with professionals in the industry, Mr. Xiao Wu calculated the construction cost and decided that in order to achieve future development, it was necessary to plan ahead and establish a physical warehouse. From decision-making to construction, in just one short year, in the second half of 2021, Huitong's three-dimensional warehouse was completed and put into use.
According to Mr. Xiao Wu, the three-dimensional warehouse has already achieved one code control of components from production to storage. The information management system is still being continuously improved. In the future, he plans to integrate with the MES system. For example, all equipment assembly plans within a week or even a month will be arranged in the system, and the system will automatically send information to the warehouse. The warehouse no longer needs workers to enter the warehouse, and various spare parts can be directly transported to the buffer zones of various assembly workshops using AGV carts, achieving intelligent production management.
